Ueto Aya for Aoki Suits

(Source: Sanspo) Ueto Aya (24) is now the face for a new line of Gentleman's Suits by Aoki, which was presented to the public on 13th October in Tokyo.

This new line of suits is made by a special material which has a self-adjusting capability depending on the temperature of the environment. For the Akihabara outlet which will open on the 23rd of October, a huge billboard measuring 12X12 metres has been mounted. The petite Aya confessed it was the first time that she has appeared on such a huge advertising billboard.

The new CM for this product features Aya in a scientist's get-up, and goes on air from the 14th October onwards.

U AYA Ueto Dresses

(Source: Sanspo) Female starlet Ueto Aya (23) was in Aoyama in Tokyo on 29th July 2009 to show off her own line of dresses. This is the second press conference for her line of dresses, U Aya Ueto Dresses, which she produces herself.

While modelling one of the dresses (above picture), Ueto Aya commented that she felt like wearing it during her real wedding. She also expressed her wish to get married in her 20s. She also said that she had an idealised, Korean-ish, high school student fantasy of innocent love.

(Source: Sanspo) Ueto Aya does a new CM for Aoki, a brand that apparently produces deodorizing and home-washable suits! The new CM is released today while the official press conference for the launch of the new CM took place yesterday in Tokyo. Ueto Aya, who loves white so much that her house is really white, appears in a white one-piece dress in this new CM, alongside a washing machine. I hope it is more interesting than an old Aoki CM here, also by Ueto Aya --

Ueto Aya charms with Tiffany Mobile

(Source: Sanspo) Softbank Mobiles has released a new line of mobile phones that supposedly has revised and updated functions found in Apple's iPhone. This line is tailored to customers' wants and the launch is aimed to up sales.

Most notably is the Tiffany-jewel-encrusted mobile that you see Ueto Aya carrying in the photos here. This phone costs 12, 980, 000 Yen. It is a limited edition phone; only 10 are up for grabs.

Ueto Aya for the iPhone

(Source: Sanspo) The iPhone goes on sale today (11th July 2008) in Japan with Ueto Aya as the star to grace its launch. About 300 people queued overnight for the iPhone. The Softbank boss (beside Ueto Aya in the photos below) made a brief speech saying, "Today, a new history for handphones has started. The iPhone is more of a computer in your hand than a handphone."

Ueto Aya also said that when she first saw the iPhone, she really wanted it and definitely wanted to try using it.

Ueto Aya enchanted by Akanishi Jin's sexy voice

(Source: Sanspo, Xinhuanet and JustJared) Akanishi Jin (23) of popular group KAT-TUN and Ueto Aya attended the Speed Racer press conference on 30th June 2008 in downtown Tokyo; the movie is to be released on the 5th of July, this saturday.

Akanishi did the Japanese voice-over for lead actor Emile Hirsch's (23) role, who was also present at the conference. "He is kakkoii, and exactly what Speed is. I'm very happy that he did (the voice over) naturally." Akanishi Jin appeared to get along well with Hirsch and also conversed fluently in English with him.

Ueto Aya, who did the part of Akanishi's/Hirsch's lover in the show commented that Akanishi's sexy voice and acting skills were very enjoyable. A slightly flushed Akanishi responded that it was very kind of Ueto to make such a comment.

The deal with Ueto Aya and Morita Go

(Sources: Idolgravure and Gazoudaisuki and Oniti) I'll have to apologise in advance for my very hasty + selective translation of this piece from Idolgravure, partly because i haven't had bfast yet but also cos the report sounds rather unreliable (as are most from this kinda jap gossip blog) HOWEVER, since I spotted a report on Ueto Aya + Morita Go in Singapore's chinese newspapers just yesterday, i don't know, i FEEL like i should at least write smth on this.

The photo above was actually dated 2006, btw. Anyway, Idolgravure says that talk of Ueto Aya and Morita Go's marriage -and its timing- has been circulating as unnamed persons close to the source supposedly blabber to the press. Some have said that Ueto-san had chased a camera man who was going to release a scoop to the public, and another has said that Ueto-san declared that "She will never break up with Morita Go, and that she will quit [her job] if she has to."

And as Morita 's management is very strict, he communicates with her through fellow artiste Becky. Really? Well, I remember reading a previous report that Becky, Aya Ueto, Fukada Kyoko and Nakagawa Shoko are good friends. But that report was also from Idolgravure, so on the upside the info corroborates, on the downside, it's all the same source anyway. The most you can be sure of is that the source is consistent, at least. ^_^

Then the report continues to write about unnamed source who wonder about when the wedding date is, and another person repeats that if the couple break up, it will have to be from Morita Go's side, because Ueto Aya will NEVER break up with him.
