Mayday (五月天) attended the Singapore Hit Awards on 6 Nov and happily bagged 5 Awards, including "Billboard Glory Award", "Best Band", "Album of the Year", "Asia Media Award" as well as the "Most Popular Band". Of these, the first and last were thanks to audience polls, which shows Mayday's unwaivering popularity. The band was deeply moved, saying it's the biggest affirmation; Stone, a guitarist for the band, hoped that May Day would have many more "ten years" ahead. Lead singer Ashin also said he was impressed with Singapore fans' enthusiasm and support, and being here has a coming-home feeling. (Aww..) Grats, Mayday!
