Miyazaki Aoi's Birthday!

(Source: Entame) Miyazaki Aoi celebrated her birthday on 30th Dec 2009, counting down to the date at a hotel room full of close friends, which numbered around 30. It was reported that close friends Aoi Yuu and Mizukawa Asami also rushed there for the event to surprise her.

Miyazaki Aoi then wished for more acting roles in movies in 2010, and promised to work harder. The report mused upon Miyazaki Aoi's fidgety and nervous disposition that night, despite being at her own party, but then pointed out that Miyazaki Aoi was purported to be that kind of shy, uneasy, nervous type of japanese girl anyway.

Miyazaki Aoi in Yami No Kodomo Tachi

(Source: Sanspo) Good morning sunshine the earth says hello! Blahblah. Anyway, actors Eguchi Yosuke (40) and Miyazaki Aoi (22) graced the stage of the premiere of Yami No Kodomo Tachi, the official site of which can be found here.

Miyazaki Aoi plays Otowa Keiko, an NGO volunteer rescuing trafficked children. Miyazaki commented that they had fun interacting with the Thai kids during filming; they would draw, she would teach them Japanese and in return they would teach her Thai.

The highlight of the article however centred upon Miyazaki's comment that when she goes back to her home (in Thailand), it's the bugs in her house that go "Okaeri!" (the way Japanese greet people who have come back home), which made everybody present laugh.

Osaka CMs

Since today's news is rather unexciting, I've decided to post my long overdue Osaka post! (that I've been talking about since before I moved from the old blog to here). I just took photos of ads which I hadn't seen before outside of Japan, or maybe really hardcore and resourceful fans would have found them online already or something but whatever, I'm dumping them here. There are more on my Samsung phone but my bluetooth ain't working. neither is the USB cable. Will save it for another unexciting news day.

Matsuyama Kenichi (Horikita Maki appears in the same series of ads too, but the photo's in my phone!)

(Click to view larger) Left: Izumi Sano station! Call me slow, but I didn't realize the names of all the characters in Hana Kimi were from Osaka train stations -_-.
Right: Matsu Takako

Yamapi (from supermarket) and MatsuJun! (vending machine along the street)

SMAP. Do you notice that this ad, has NOTHING to do with drinks at all? At least Yamapi and MatsuJun above were "holding the drink". This is just, face and brand name. Haha. Not a very "new" or original revelation but just felt like pointing it out. ^_^
Oguri Shun, Ayase Haruka and that-old-guy whom ive seen in many movies. (Shitsureeshimasu!)

Shibasaki Kou, who's going to marry Satoshi Tsumabuki =(.
And Miyazaki Aoi in a bland CM!
and Becky, for Jetstar!? I didn't even know Jetstar flew to Japan!
