Nagasawa Masami wants to visit Okinawa with her boyfriend

(Source: Sanspo) Nagasawa Masami has started her duties as Ambassador of Okinawa on 15th June 2009. She was the star of movie Nada Sou Sou (2006) which was filmed in Okinawa.

"I would like to visit Okinawa with a boyfriend sometime. It would be nice to go suntanning with him." She commented amidst dainty laughter.

Nagasawa Masami's dark past

(Source: Idolgravure) Dark past? Or so says Idolgravure, which quotes Shuukan Josei. As some may know, Nagasawa Masami got her big break in 2000 when she attended the 5th Toho Cinderella contest and was selected from 55,153 people! However, her seemingly successful life (she is currently fronting 8 CM campaigns) masks a dark past which strangely resembles that of Cinderella's...

Shuukan Josei also reports that there were many rumours surrounding her Cinderella-win, which have to do with the fact that her father used to be a national soccer player for Japan. (Wow I didn't know that!)

Lots of missing details, which I guess can only be revealed to those who actually buy the magazine! Oh well. Happy Friday people! ^_^

Oguri Shun and Nagasawa Masami for Knorr Cup Soup

Doesn't she look like she wants him? Rarr. Anyway I'm currently at St/ar/bu/cks TRYING to update this gossipblog... but the connection's screwed. Give me an hour till I zip somewhere else with a better connection.

(an hour later)

(Source: Sanspo) Doesn't Oguri Shun look much better now? (as compared to this) Anyway the press conference for Ajinomoto's Knorr Cup Soup was held yesterday, 29th June 2008 in the inner city. There is some word-pun on Mame (豆)and Omame (お豆) that was mentioned in the Sanspo article, but unfortunately your noob MFGB blogger here does not understand shit even after using google and online dictionaries. In any case, Oguri-san was just making fun of Nagasawa Masami and they appeared to be having a lot of fun. I don't really care about Nagasawa Masami so I'm going to ignore her as much as I can. Mwaha. More pictures below.

School starts again for me tomorrow so won't be updating as often........ I think. =(.

Nishikido Ryo and Nagasawa Masami?

(Source: Purichou) Apparently, a photo of Nishikido Ryo and Nagasawa Masami. Probably after one of those Last Friends celebratory parties. Either that or just two random people who are posing for tabloids just solely fixated on profits. ^_^

Last Friends to hit the Big Screen

(Source: Entame) Osaka Sports reported that the decision to make a movie-version of popular J-Dorama "Last Friends" has been made! The dorama's themes are concerned with modern-day social problems like child abuse, domestic violence and homosexuality, and started out with a viewer's rating of 13.9% (for the first episode) and peaked at 20.7% in the second-last episode last week, pulling ahead of KimuTaku's CHANGE. (The last episode airs tonight.)

Related personnel commented that "nobody had thought that Last Friends would be able to rake in higher viewer's ratings than KimuTaku's CHANGE. Although the 19th (of June) was meant to be the last episode, we suddenly had a phone call asking us to add on a special episode/version of Last Friends, in the way that KimuTaku's HERO was made into a movie."

Apparently plans for the movie are already underway. Following in the steps of "Journey to the West" and "HERO", it's been said that the transition from the small-screen to the big-screen has rarely seen failure.
