(Source: Sanspo) The iPhone goes on sale today (11th July 2008) in Japan with Ueto Aya as the star to grace its launch. About 300 people queued overnight for the iPhone. The Softbank boss (beside Ueto Aya in the photos below) made a brief speech saying, "Today, a new history for handphones has started. The iPhone is more of a computer in your hand than a handphone."
Ueto Aya also said that when she first saw the iPhone, she really wanted it and definitely wanted to try using it.
