(Source: Sanspo) Natto (納豆) Queen to be exact. Prior to Natto Day on the 10th of July the National Natto Committee of Japan has awarded the title of Natto Queen to Wada Akiko (58). A delighted Wada-san said that she felt like she had changed history, as this prize had been previously awarded to a string of young idols. She also said that when she first tried Natto, she didn't like it, but upon a second taste she fell in love with the dish.
Wada Akiko has a concert scheduled on the 30th in NHK hall as well as one in New York on 29th of September.
